Linda Norris and Gary James — known together as Norris and James — performed together for over 30 years, creating and covering an immense library of music.
Ranging from their first duet of "Endless Love" to their original songs, Gary and Linda have lived a life together in the world of music, which has allowed them to travel and meet some incredible people along the journey.
Their continual love for music led them to amplify and support positive, growing artists throughout the Mid-Atlantic region through the Lehigh Valley Idol program.

About Norris and James
Joining together in 1987, Linda Norris and Gary James built their dynamic duo, first under the name "Perfect Touch," which later transformed into "Norris and James." Their partnership and impact transcended music business to romance, family and community, sparking over 30 years of music and love.

After studying with such renowned coaches as Joseph Bousard (H.B. Studios in New York City), Robert Diehl (Garden City, Long Island), and conductor/director Abraham Kaplin (New York School of Choral Studios), Linda performed in numerous national stage productions, recorded various albums and performed in Branson, MO with members of the world famous Osmond Family. Additionally, Linda was the Co-founder and the Director of Lehigh Valley Idol, a business dedicated to developing the talents of others and since 1987. Linda has been performing, in what entertainment reporter Charles Cohn refers to as "a dynamic duo-Norris and James!"
Linda's voice has been compared to the late Karen Carpenter, providing a lush balance of harmony and melody throughout her decades-long career.

Gary James
A multi-faceted producer, entertainer, and humanitarian — successful on and off the stage.
His lifelong love for music carried him beyond his military career into work with the award-winning Osmond family at the Osmond Family Theater in Branson, MO and across the nation. Gary's talents in music, performance, and entrepreneurship afforded him opportunities to work closely with Marie Osmond in helping to establish the Children's Miracle Network and Telethon with his original song, "For The Children," among many other related projects & shows with the Osmond Brothers. During his honorable service in the Air Force, Gary earned the rank of Staff Sargent (E-5) as a Non-Commissioned Officer while serving both as a Crime Prevention Officer and ranking member on an Anti-Terrorism Task Force; additionally, Gary was recognized as Top Cop in the USAF 86th Security Police (1981) alongside various commendation medals and accolades.

A Legacy Lives On
Family, foundation, faith, and fun were the pillars of Gary and Linda throughout their careers, and both continued to model their lives on these principles throughout their community.
In early 2024, Gary passed away. His legacy and love lives on through his family, faith, music and joy spread throughout decades of work and life. He is missed dearly by those he loved.
Norris and James' music and media catalog is managed by their son, Chris Fiegel (Chris Fiegel, LLC).
